Gustav Distillery has a Brand Ambassador in Hong Kong and Macau in order to make the brand known in East Asia. Restaurant industry professional Tomi Ho was chosen in July to be the first Brand Ambassador for Gustav Distillery. Get to know Tomi and learn how to make his signature cocktails!
I’m Tomi Ho, a restaurant and bar professional from Hong Kong. I have a long background in the restaurant industry: I have worked as a bartender, entrepreneur, business consultant and branding consultant for over 18 years. I have founded several restaurants and bars all around Hong Kong. Most recently, I opened Fools and Magicians, a cocktail lounge, restaurant and music room in the Hong Kong’s city centre. I am already planning some exciting new concepts and enterprises.
For me, the words that come to mind when I think of Arctic Gustav are “unique, clean and simple.” It means fresh and pure Nordic wilderness, which is present in the spirits of Gustav Distillery. Arctic Gustav is also something incomparable and outstanding. Besides creating the experience of the Nordic nature in a bottle, the story of the over 160-year-old distillery gives the products a distinctive character.
As a Brand Ambassador, my role includes various tasks in order to increase the awareness of Gustav Distillery’s products in Hong Kong and Macau. I showcase Gustav Distillery’s products in various events and work in close cooperation with other industry professionals as well as with Pear & Carrot Ltd., the local importer and distributor in Hong Kong.
Cocktails plus the Nordic countries are currently trending in Hong Kong and East Asia. The Arctic liqueurs and vodkas offer endless possibilities for making cocktails with a Nordic twist. I’m happy to share two of my favourite recipes made of the award-winning Gustav Dill Vodka.
